Perhaps time was too precious, or perhaps he was so glad to have finished his article that he was simply busting to submit it. Either way, I bet he wished he could turn back the clock once he saw the headline printed in black and white!
We have all been there - we all make mistakes. The trick is to allow yourself the best opportunity to spot any mistakes before a document leaves your hands.
Go for a walk, have a coffee, weed the garden, talk to the dog, salute the sun - it doesn't matter. Just create some space between you and your writing. You will come back to it with fresh eyes, and be able to edit so much more effectively. Amen.

Hi Jen, great pick up lol. I also love your tips, although sometimes I wish my dog could talk back & not lick my face or bark at me all the time as a response hahaha.
